Anja is a scientist and Medical Advisor. Her father was a doctor, and her mother came to Germany from the Philippines in the early 1980s, working as a nurse. Growing up between two cultures wasn't always easy, but it gave her a unique perspective on care, migration, and medical work. She learned how differently care is lived out and how much it connects people. At WHO CARED, she supports the conception and expansion of the project to further communities. Her goal is to make the diverse stories of care migration more visible and to foster dialogue.
