Interkultur Ruhr is holding a festival for the first time this year from 29 to 31 October in Dortmund, and thereafter annually, moving around the Ruhr region.
The Ruhr region has been shaped by migration for generations. Despite this, access to resources, funding and visibility in the cultural sector are still unevenly distributed. Many perspectives remain underrepresented. That is why we are asking the questions: Who is seen? Who is heard? And who is still missing?
